I currently have mcafee on pc, is it OK to use malwarebytes too?
I was hacked so I want to know if malware bytes is ok when I still have mcaffee because I want EXTRA HELP so that little jerk never comes back.

Yes, mcafee takes care of virus infections, malware bytes helps clean up spyware and adware. There is no conflict by installing them both on the same computer. In-fact they complement each other nicely. Make sure you update malware bytes to the latest definitions and the run a ‘full scan’ reboot if it tells you to. That should fix most all popups, toolbars, and strange stuff. BUT the thing most people forget is that you are likely still vulnerable to reinfection unless you have all the latest security patches. Do windows updates as soon as possible and on a regular basis to help protect your computer in the future.

You may also try SUPERAntiSpyware. It’s available free at http://www.superantispyware.com and will work well with both/or McAfee and MalwareBytes.
